Oliva Citro AerialistPrincipal dancer Olivia Citro, born in Minnesota, moved out to Arizona in 1999 with her family where she shortly after found a passion for dance. She has trained with multiple studios around the valley, and has worked and trained with master choreographers such as Tina Caspary-Cyphert and Ryan Cyphert, Napoleon and Tabitha D’umo, Brian Freedman, Tyce Diorio, John Crutchman and Alan Sherfield. Olivia has expertise in modern, contemporary and hip hop dance, but has dabbled in several different styles. She has taught in many different studios and choreographed all over the east valley, and has assisted heavily in the direction and choreography of a few large scale productions as well.
Olivia’s dance career took a turn when she experienced an aerial performance, and said to herself, “If I don’t try that now, I never will.” She never would have guessed that aerial would have such an impact, and also become such a huge passion in her life. Olivia has trained extensively in silks, trapeze, lyra, rope, and hammock. Her list of performances is growing day by day, and loves seeing it continuing to expand. She has performed aerials at events and venues such at City of Grace Church in Mesa & Scottsdale, AZ, Bay Area Fellowship in Corpus Christi, TX, Church by the Glades in Coral Springs, FL, Family Christian Center in Munster, IN and the Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, AZ.
